ABSTRACT This study determined the antiseptic property of the gaued leaves extract against staphylococcus bacteria. It tried also to determine the greatest and least effective concentration against staphylococcus bacteria. The experimental research design was employed to gather data for the study. The gaued leaves extract was an effective antiseptic agent against staphylococcus bacteria when tested in cultural microbes and swiss mice as test animals. The 60% concentration of gaued leaves extract had the greatest antiseptic activity against staphylococcus bacteria while the 40% concentration was the least effective. The standard betadine solution was better and more effective than the 60% concentration of the gaued leaves extract against the staphylococcus bacteria.
