HEALTH CARE DELIVERY SERVICES OF COMMUNITY DRUGSTORE TO SENIOR CITIZENS OF ILOCOS NORTE<br/>THESIS ADVISER: MAGDALENA B. LAGUA<br/>The study determined the Health Care Delivery Services of Community Drugstores of Senior Citizens of Ilocos Norte. Descriptive Correlation Study was used and a survey questionnaire was the main instrument used to gather data. Research subjects were 384, senior citizens, and 75 community pharmacists using sample random sampling design. Frequency distribution, percentage, weighed mean, were used in determining the distribution of responses and the Statistical package for the Social Scientist (SPSS)ver 11.0 windows was used in the computation of multiple correlation. Findings revealed that majority of the senior citizens in Ilocos Norte have not at all received the Senior Citizens 20% discount in terms of medication and drug information. While, majority of the senior citizens in Ilocos Norte have very oftenly enjoyed proper dispensing in terms of receiving the appropriate amount/or number of medication and in dispensing the drug counteously by the community pharmacists. It has been proven from the study that majority of the community drugstores in Ilocos Norte do not at all give the 20% discount on medicines to the senior citizens. On the other hand. Majority of the drugstores in Ilocos Norte oftenly give drug information on medication obtain by the Senoir Citizens and proper dispensing. It was also found out that there is no significant relationship between the senior citizens socio-demographic profile and the Health Care Delivery Services of a Community Drugstores, which was proven by low correlated values. In light of the findings and conclusions drawn from the study, the following are highly recommended. 1. Health Care Delivery Services, such as Proper Dispensing and Drug Information should be well established as to determine, which among them is specifically fulfilled by the community pharmacists. 2. Proper monitoring of drugstore located in Ilocos Norte should be given more emphasis, by the government such as the Department of Health in order to establish a more comprehensive Health Care Delivery Services to the Senior Citizens of Ilocos Norte. 3. Further study should be conducted in order to determine the effect of Proper Health Care Delivery to Senior Citizens of Ilocos Norte. 4. Further study should also be imitated in other areas and locality as to the determination and extent of the Health Care Delivery Services of Community Drugstores. <br/>
