Rarogal This research study aimed to identify the factors affecting milk consumption of the clients of the Philippine Carabao Center as well as to determine the effects of these factors on the intention to consume and purchase milk. A random sample of 57 walk in and regular clients were randomly selected to collect data on their milk and milk consumption preference. Methodologically, the socio-demographic profile, consumer motivation, consumer purchasing preferences, influencing factors, and role of family and peer groups were determined. The preferences of the consumers in purchasing dairy products and the relationship of the different variables was analyzed using the Chi-square and the Pearson Correlation Analyses. Results revealed that there was significant relationship between the influencing factors and the preferences for milk of the clients of the Dairy Store Ilocos of the Philippine Carabao Center. In contrast, there was no significant relationship between the preference for milk and the monthly income of the clients.
