Rarogal<br/><br/> A Supervised Farming Project (SFP) on broiler production using 10% madre de<br/>agua (Trichanthera gigantea) leaf meal as feed supplement was conducted at Brgy. 10<br/>Barani, City of Batac, Ilocos Norte from January 27, 2019 to March 22, 2019. The<br/>project aimed to determine the growth performance of the broilers with the technology<br/>adopted from the study conducted by Gofredo et al, profitability of the package of<br/>technology and to identify problems encountered and skills and values developed<br/>during the production cycle.<br/>Two hundred broiler chickens (200) were reared for thirty days in two<br/>production cycles, with 100 broiler chickens for each production cycle.<br/>The project was evaluated by getting the average daily gain, feed conversion<br/>efficiency and return on investment. The average daily gain weight of the broilers<br/>supplemented with madre de agua leaf meal is 0.054 kg with feed conversion efficiency<br/>of 1.50 kg for the first cycle and 0.051 kg for the second cycle with feed conversion<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/> |
