Summary, etc. ABSTRACT RANADA, RAISSA MAE C.. BAYLON, KATHLYN D., BARRION, JESSA G. 2020. Simulating the Growth and Yield of Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill) as affected by Fertilizer Management. Undergraduate Thesis College of Engineering, Mariano Marcos State University, City of Batac 2906 Ilocos Norte PP . Adviser: Dr. Nathaniel R Alibuyog Different studies on how to increase the production and yield for tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) have been conducted through some experimental resources but lacks accuracy. At present time, simulation models have been utilized to simulate and calibrate data that can help farmers' cropping management. Hence, the study aimed to simulate the growth and development of the three tomato cultivars locally grown in Ilocos Norte, assess the effects of fertilizer management on the growth and yield of tomato using the Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer (DSSAT) model and use the calibrated model to develop fertilizer management of tomato that could be recommended to farmers. The experiment was conducted at Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) experimental field. The three different varieties of tomato used were Rosanna (VI), Diamante Max (V2), and Ilocos Red (V3) and treated with four different fertilizer applications, Control (TI), Organic (T2), Northern Foods Corporation rommendation (13), and Plan for theResources Research and Development (PCAKED 141 The Analysis of Vani IANOVAI aa e eerae Rescarch (STAR V.2 l) were well to analyse the del put the the fertilizer management on the yield components of the sweet and tabulated The comparison at different powth was was de www COVID-19 pandemie, there analyzed data were further time will using the DSSAT model Thus, it is necessary to have further calibration on the study for a better understanding before recomanowa farmers in Ilocos Norte.
