Perceived Barriers and the Level of Physical Activity of the Mariano Marcos State University Physical Therapy Students Adviser: Mrs. Marilou J. Raval Due to the globally reported decrease of physical activity, the researchers, as aspiring health professionals have been motivated to seriously consider looking at the level of physical activity (PA) and the possible perceived barriers to physical activity among Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT) students at the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU). Thus, this study determined the socio-demographic profile, PA level, and the perceived barriers among the respondents and, the relationship between the variables. A descriptive correlational design was used in this study. Total of 159 MMSU BSPT students from 1st year to 3rd year level were involved. There is no relationship between level of PA and the socio- demographic profile of the respondent. Moreover, there is also no relationship between the social-demographic profile and perceived barriers. There is a moderate relationship between the perceived barriers and the level of PA.
