Summary, etc. | In an era defined by the dual imperatives of environmental sustainability and energy security, Mariano Marcos State University stands at the intersection of innovation and responsibility. As the global community grapples with the repercussions of climate change and the finite nature of traditional energy sources, the imperative to adopt renewable energy solutions has never been more urgent. In light of this, the incorporation of grid-tied solar photovoltaic (PV) systems is demonstrated by Mariano Marcos State University's dedication to environmental stewardship and community leadership, in addition to being a practical answer to rising energy prices. By utilizing the region's enormous solar resources, the institution sets off on a revolutionary path toward increased energy efficiency and sustainable growth. The researchers identified prospective candidatesfor solar panel installation, there are only four buildings that the researchers selected for solar panel installation and these are the Administration Building, Center for Flexible Learning/Library, CMEA/Motorpool, and the four dormitories. The Administration Building are installed with a 220kWp grid tied system, the CFL/Library is installed with a 330kWp grid tied system, and the CMEA building is installed with a 115.50kWp grid-tied system and four dormitories that has been installed 47.3kWp grid-tied system each. All buildings have a design layout on the placement of the solar panels. Solar panels will be installed to the roofing of the selected buildings in order to maximize the availability of roof space. |
