Mariano Marcos State University, December<br/>2020 OUR-Repo: DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN<br/>ELECTRONIC REPOSITORY OF DOCUMENTS FOR MARIANO MARCOS<br/>STATE UNIVERSITY - OFFICE OF THE UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR.<br/><br/>Major Adviser: Wilben Christie R. Pagtaconan, MSIT<br/><br/>Office of the University Registrar, the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU-OUR) is in-charge of keeping the records of all the individuals both the students<br/>and graduates who had been enrolled in the University. Based from the result of the<br/>interviews conducted with the MMSU - OUR's personnel, the number of enrolled and<br/>graduates increase annually, hence, record keeping also increases. The National Archive<br/>of the Philippines Act of 2007 (R.A. 9470) promulgated guidelines to maintain student's<br/>scholastic records at the MMSU - OUR. The development and implementation of the<br/>system, OUR Repo, was based on the need of the said unit and ensures that it is in<br/>conformity with legal bases especially the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A. 10173).<br/>	The OUR Repo serves as the repository of student records and other relevant<br/>documents of the personnel at the OUR. The personnel in-charge will scan the pertinent<br/>documents being maintained and stores such in the OUR Repo. The OUR Repo will<br/>ensure proper security of the uploaded student records and the like and a backup<br/>mechanism was included to facilitate the possible loss data loss. There are three modules<br/>included: Access Folders, Manage Users and Student Infos, and Manage Account. The<br/>Access Folders module have the following submodules: TORS, Student Records, Shared<br/>Files, and My Documents. <br/>	The Access Folder is used to organized the uploaded files. TheTORs and Student Records are intended for the storage of students' files only. The users can upload files with a maximum file size of 6 MB and must be on an image or pdf file type. The Shared Files and My Documents modules are intended for personal file storage and with a limitation of 6 MB file size and.dll, .exe, and ini file extensions the OUR Repo was conducted using the Rapid Application The development Methodology that is dimed, relevant, and timely with the current situation of the MMSU - OUR and relevant for the development of the system. The User Acceptance Test was done to comply with the software standards stated from the ISO 9126 or the Software Quality Standard. A pilot testing was administered and the personnel involved recommended that additional modules must be included to further utilize the system's functionalities.<br/><br/>
