Ayson A fertigation study was conducted at Sitio Nagbacsan, Barangay Tabug inside the Mariano Marcos State University, City of Batac, Ilocos Norte from February to May 2021. It aimed to determine the effects of the different levels of fertilizer applied through fertigation on the growth and survival of planted indigenous tree species under MMSU conditions. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four treatments and three replications. The fertilizer levels which were mixed with 1.5 liters of water were: T1-Control (water alone) per tree: T2 - 28.6 g 14-14-14 fertilizer mixed with 1.5 liters of water per tree: T3 - 57.2 g of 14-14-14 fertilizer mixed with 1.5 liters of water per tree: T.-85.8 g of 14-14-14 fertilizer mixed with 1.5 liters of water per tree. These treatments were based on the recommended rates by PCARR for forest trees of 17.4 g for 46-0-0 + 28.6 g for 14-14-14 + 8.32 g for 0-0- 60 tree! Results revealed that there were no significant effects of the different levels of fertilizer applied through fertigation on the height and height increment of narra during the first three observation periods. On the fourth and final observation period, however, significant differences were observed on this parameter with the plants accorded with water only exhibiting the highest height increment. Likewise, the different fertilizer treatments used in the fertigation study did not contribute to the height growth of kamagong at the different observation periods under MMSU conditions, even when these increments were summed up. In terms of diameter increment, highly significant effect of the fertilizer treatments was manifested during the first observation period. However, no significant effects of the different treatments on the diameter growth of the narra plants on the ensuing observation periods even when the diameter increments were summed up. In terms of survival, results show no significant differences among treatments. The narra plants had 100 percent survival regardless of treatment. For the kamagong plants, the untreated plants and those fertigated with 28.6 g had numerically exhibited higher survival rates of 88.89% than those fertigated with 57.2 g and 85.8 g NPK with similar survival rate of 77.78%. In terms of maintenance cost, the highest cost was noted in Treatment 4 with Php 726.5, while the lowest were noted in Treatment 1 or control with Php 630. In terms of maintenance cost per plant, the highest was noted in Treatment 3 with Php 43.19 and the lowest was noted in Treatment 1 with Php 35.</abstract>
