With the high monthly cost of electricity, a monitoring and control system for ACU’s would greatly benefit the university in energy saving efforts by ensuring that their operations are in the most efficient level. Such technology also helps ensure that current policies on the use and utilization of electricity in buildings around the campus are being followed. Although there is already an existing monitoring and control system in the locale of the study, it still has room for improvements. One point is the used of Solid State Relays (SSRs). Aside from that, it also lacks the capability of controlling the ACU’s temperature and mode. That specific problem lead for the development of new system and such system still needs another proper application for it to function well. Therefore, the study primarily aims to Design and Develop an IOT based Demand-Side Management Air-Conditioning Unit Control System and Monitoring Dashboard using Node-red and MQTT Protocol. The research study follows a Research Design & Development Cycle in designing the Dashboard and its integration to the IR Controller and Energy Monitoring Device. The integration of the IDACSAM Dashboard and the devices was done along with multiple testing. The IDACSAM Dashboard is effective in controlling ACUs and monitoring the energy consumption of individual ACUs ER -
