The linear shrinkage result reveals that the smaller particles lead to higher shrinkage, in contrast to the tile body incorporation of larger particle sizes WSLG.The water absorption and apparent porosity was observed during the experiment and gives a high percentage due to low firing temperature. This failure did not reach the standard WA (Water Absorption) emphasizes the critical importance of firing temperature in achieving full vitrification. Optimal bulk density is observed with a 125 µm particle size (1.78/cmᶾ), while 100 µm and 150 µm sizes result in slightly lower bulk densities. In terms of mechanical properties, particle size of 125 µm and 150 µm shows lower modulus of rupture, while 100 µm exhibiting the highest value (3.35 Mpa).
