  <abstract>The study was conducted at Brgy. Medina, Dingras Ilocos Norte from October 
1 to October 28, 2023. A total of 12 experimental units with 10 Cobb-500 broiler 
chickens each were randomly and equally distributed to four treatments namely, T1 
(100% commercial feeds), T2 ( 3% PSM + 97% commercial feeds), T3 (4% PSM + 
96% commercial feeds), and T4 (5% PSM + 95% commercial feeds).  
The study determined the effect of supplementing papaya seed meal (PSM) 
on the growth performance of broiler chicken. Data analysis on the initial weight 
revealed no significant differences among the experimental groups, indicating that 
there was uniformity in weight before any treatment was applied. Analysis on the 
weekly weight showed that PSM did not affect the broiler weight. Final weight analysis 
also indicated no significant differences in broiler weight with PSM supplementation. 
Aside from that, the result of the study showed no significant differences (p&gt;0.05) 
among the treatments in terms of average daily gain (ADG), feed conversion ratio 
(FCR), and total feed intake (TFI). However, ROI remained positive regardless of the 
PSM inclusion rate. The highest net income and ROI were obtained in broiler chickens 
fed solely with commercial feed.</abstract>
