The specific objectives were to determine the socio- demographic and farm/economic characteristics of multiplier onion growers, analyze the production costs, and the allocation of produce by the growers, determine the net income from onion production, and identify the problems encountered by the multiplier onion growers, In general, the multiplier onion growers belonged to the middle and old age, having an average age of 52 years. Most of the growers are male and married and finished elementary. Majority (72%) of the growers were share tenants, with an average area of 3800 m and have been involved for 17 years in onion farming. The multiplier onion growers have attended the trainings/seminars conducted by the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) and are also members of different organizations
