Micro- Controller-Based Data Logging of a 1 Kilowatt Solar Powered Generator. Undergraduate Thesis. College of the Engineering, Mariano Marcos State University. City of Batac 2906 Ilocos Norte. 131 pp. Adviser: Engr. Rogelio U. Binala Electrical power generation from renewable energy sources is considered as promising option for self-sustained growth with almost no impact on environment. In this regard, harnessing energy from the sun is a great alternative of electrical energy source in households and small farms. Thus, a study on evaluating an integrated 1-kw solar powered generator system using a micro-controller-based data logger is presented here to measure the current, voltage, power and electrical energy of the solar panel, battery, load and power input at the inverter under different weather conditions such as sunny, cloudy, partially rainy and during dusk.
