520 | _aThe purpose of this study is to evaluate and compare a vertical and horizontal water turbine at Cacafean, Marcos, Ilocos Norte. The availability of water resources could become more valuable if the study is completed. A water turbine was created to be simple and easy to install in areas where water is plentiful. The project was designed around the basics of a water turbine that might be employed in an isolated or rural town. The frame, turbine, and generator could endure the force of water. Data was collected while the machine was in operation. With the growing energy issue, using renewable energy is critical for sustainability and cost savings. Run-off-river systems offer dependable and environmentally friendly alternatives, particularly in rural locations near rivers. This study contributes to a greener future by developing a vertical axis turbine generator that uses the power of flowing water. | ||
