The eLibraryUSA is a gateway to vital information and extensive learning that provides access to full text of articles from more than 10,000 authoritative academic journals, magazines and newspapers, and more than 1.5 million graduate theses and dissertations from over 700 universities as well as 600 videos and documentaries. It is provided free of charge by the U.S. Government through the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines and can be accessed at the American Corner, Main Library. It offers the following databases:

    Academic and Research Resources
    • OneFile - provides full-text articles from 8,000 academic journals on various subjects.
    • JSTOR - provides full-text articles on social sciences, economics, and history from 850 academic journals.
    • ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Database - provides full text of over 1.5 million graduate theses and dissertations from over 700 universities.
    • Research in Context - group articles by research topic from over 1,200 journals, newspapers and magazines.

    Newspapers and Magazines
    • Press Reader - includes over 400 U.S. and international newspapers and magazines.
    • Flipster - offers 17 digital magazines that cover current events, U.S. culture, and foreign affairs.

    Information Literacy and Online Safety
    • Digital Literacy - contains Internet-related topics such as social networking, cyberbullying, privacy, research skills and tools, and gaming

    Discussion and Debate
    • Opposing viewpoints in Context - presents controversial issues from all sides with articles from 1,700 newspapers and magazines.

    American History
    • American History in Video - offers the Alexander Street Press collection of over 600 videos and documentaries that capture the American experience.
